Emscripten & WebAssembly night! との関係は？

元 Emscripten & WebAssembly night! です。

Emscripten 以外のツールも広く利用されるようになってきましたし、非 Web の利用例も増えてきましため、名前を変更することにしました。

WebAssembly nightではなく、WebAssembly Tokyo としたのは、WebAssemlby SF や WebAssembly EU の意識しているからです。

What is WebAssembly Tokyo?

A tech community focusing on WebAssembly. We are covering non-web applications as well as web applications.

We were known as "Emscripten & WebAssebmly night!". Other tools, such as wasm-bindgen, have been popular now. That is why we have new name (and new web site).
